Payroll Manager – Brussels

Our client is an international player in the services sector. For their headquarters in Brussels, they are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager who will lead the payroll team and be responsible for the further expansion and optimization of the department.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Operational management and planning of the daily tasks of a team of 10 payroll experts.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely controls during the monthly payroll closing process.
  • Developing and delivering training programs to junior Payroll Officers within the team.
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing existing payroll processes and documenting them.
  • Contributing to and supporting various payroll projects.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits.
  • Preparing regular reports on payroll data.
  • Maintaining contact with external service providers (social secretariat, insurers, etc…).
  • Staying up to date with changes in payroll laws and regulations and translating them into internal processes.

Your profile:

  • At least 8 years of experience managing payroll (for both blue- and white-collar employees) from A to Z.
  • Proven experience in leading and coaching a team.
  • Extensive user experience with SAP HR is a MUST HAVE.
  • Fluent in Dutch with a good knowledge of French.
  • Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and highly proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
