For a well-established Belgian company with international operations we are looking for an HR Business Partner (permanent position) to strengthen the HR BP team. In this role you will be the main HR point of contact for approximately 300 blue-collar employees and will report directly to the HR Director.
Your responsibilities:
- Act as a sparring partner for line managers and provide support to blue-collar employees on HR-related matters.
- Set up and conduct absence management discussions and performance evaluations.
- Identify, organize and coordinate training needs and certifications for the blue-collar workforce (e.g. first aid, forklift certificates, etc…).
- Actively participate in ongoing and new HR projects and initiatives.
- Coordinate the collaboration with temporary employment agencies and manage the onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Optimize HR processes such as onboarding and performance management, etc….
- Follow up on HR administration and ensure personnel files are kept up to date in the HRIS system.
Your profile:
- Proven HR experience in a blue-collar environment is essential.
- Fluent in Dutch with a good command of English.
- Solid knowledge of social legislation.
- Experience in payroll and/or policy development is a plus.
- Well-organized, communicative and proactive.
- Comfortable taking ownership and able to stand firm in a professional manner.
