HR Officer – Region Machelen (Ref. 1376)

For a renowned Belgian company with international operations, we are looking for an HR Officer for permanent hire to take ownership of the operational HR activities. In this role, you will report directly to the HR Manager.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Prepare and follow up on payroll (125 fte) in collaboration with the HR service provider.
  • Optimize payroll and HR processes and policies.
  • Manage HR administration (drafting contracts, processing social documents, and maintaining up-to-date employee files).
  • Act as a point of contact and sparring partner for employees and managers.
  • Initiate and lead various HR projects.
  • Manage training programs (practical planning and organization of certifications, submitting subsidy applications, and processing training leave).
  • Support Talent Acquisition and employer branding initiatives.

 

Your profile:

  • Good knowledge of labor and social legislation.
  • Some experience with payroll processing for employees. Knowledge of SD Worx (Eblox) is a plus.
  • Able to work independently, accuratel and with a proactive, eager-to-learn mindset.
  • Fluent in Dutch, with good knowledge of French and English.
