For our client, a fast growing SME in the Antwerp area that is part of a large international and industrial group, we are looking for a Freelance HR Generalist. In this challenging role, you will report directly to the HR Manager and assist with various operational and strategic HR tasks.
Your responsibilities:
- Processing and verifying payroll for blue and white collar (total 170fte) using eBlox.
- Managing personnel files, contracts, policies, and reporting.
- Contributing to various projects, including:
- Migrating payroll and time registration systems from SAP to Pro-time/SD Worx.
- Establishing a training policy (needs analysis, training plans, and certification).
- Reviewing and updating the labor regulations and cafeteria plan.
- Preparing Works Council meetings and communicating with trade unions.
- Strengthening employer branding and increasing employee engagement.
- Optimizing HR processes (e.g., onboarding, evaluations, etc.).
- Acting as a sparring partner for the management team and supporting employees with HR-related questions.
- Recruiting blue collar, maintaining contacts with temp agencies, and managing the onboarding and offboarding process.
Your profile:
- Experience in payroll processing for blue and white collar in an industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of social legislation.
- Flexible and driven HR Generalist to take on various projects and optimize processes.
- Fluent in Dutch; knowledge of French is a plus.
- Proactive, hands-on, and independent in your approach.
- Strong communication skills and a true team player.
