Freelance HR BP – Region Hasselt (Ref. 1651)

Our client is a well-established and reputable player in the Belgian market with a local workforce of approximately 120 employees (Joint Committee 200). To cover a maternity leave starting in September we are looking for an experienced Freelance HR Business Partner who can ensure continuity within the HR team. In this role you will report directly to the HR Manager.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Act as a sparring partner for employees and managers on a broad range of HR-related topics.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly employee engagement surveys.
  • Organize and facilitate team dynamics workshops as part of wellbeing initiatives.
  • Advise and support managers in addressing challenges related to stress, workload, retention and team dynamics.
  • Develop and implement initiatives focused on people development and talent growth.
  • Manage stakeholders and foster constructive collaboration across various teams.
  • Optimize and further professionalize HR processes.
  • Coordinate and oversee the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Support Talent Acquisition activities where needed.
  • Prepare, analyze and follow up on HR reports and KPIs.
  • Actively participate in various HR projects and collaborate with the corporate headquarters.

 

Your Profile:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner ideally with a strong focus on wellbeing and employee engagement.
  • Solid knowledge of social legislation.
  • Experience with payroll is considered an asset.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Empathetic, approachable and hands-on with strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills.

  • Duration: 6 months, 3/5 – 4/5.
  • Location: Region Hasselt, with flexibility to work remote.
