Freelance C&B specialist – Region Brussels (Ref. 1506)

For the Belgian headquarters of a European market leader, we are looking for an experienced Freelance C&B Specialist. In this role, you will support the Compensation & Benefits team at an operational level, contributing to both new and ongoing projects to ensure a consistent and effective rollout. You will report directly to the C&B Manager.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Managing and following up on day-to-day C&B processes and respond to questions from the business.
  • Supporting the rollout of various C&B projects (e.g pay transparency, merit increase cycles, commission plan changes, voluntary leave plans, overtime frameworks, group insurance schemes, etc…).
  • Assisting the team in clearing existing backlogs.
  • Coordinating C&B implementations in close collaboration with the payroll team.
  • Manage and liaise with key stakeholders.
  • Preparing internal communications related to C&B changes for employees, HR Business Partners, management and unions.
  • (Re)write policies, FAQs and update work regulations and Collective Labour Agreements.

 

Your profile: 

  • Strong experience in C&B with a proven track record in project work and implementations.
  • Solid understanding of payroll processes, calulations and their impact.
  • Fluent in French or Dutch with a good command of the other language and strong proficiency in English.
  • Hands-on, proactive, solution-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables/Vlookup) with strong analytical and data-driven capabilities.
  • Good knowledge of social legislation.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Workday is a strong plus.
