Head of HR Operations – Region Zaventem

We are looking for a Head of HR Operations for an internationally leading IT company with Belgian roots. Based at the company’s headquarters in Belgium, you will lead HR Operations across Europe. You will play a key role in streamlining payroll, administrative, and HR processes while managing a dedicated team.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Take the lead in implementing a global payroll solution by merging three separate regional systems into one European payroll provider.
  • Standardize and optimize payroll processes for a workforce of approximately 400 FTEs.
  • Document payroll and administrative processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Organize, plan, and coach the HR Operations team, comprising one HR Officer and three Office Managers responsible for fleet, travel, and expense policies within the region.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and process optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and policies, both locally and internationally.
  • Work closely with the CHRO and other stakeholders to deliver top-tier HR services.

 

Your Profile:

  • At least 5 years of experience in payroll and HR processes/administration, preferably in an international environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in French or Dutch and English.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured working style.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to drive change and translate HR goals into operational actions.
  • Experience in team development and employee motivation.
  • Knowledge of HRIS tools is a plus.
